Airphil Express, the Philippines’s newest and fastest growing low cost carrier continues to gear up its inter-island network as it opens more direct flights within the nation.
The airline has just announced details of its new services to Zamboanga. Zamboanga represents the ninth new A320 route announced in the past five months, bringing the carrier’s network to 28 destinations.
Direct and daily flights to Zamboanga from Manila will commence of October 1, 2010, with an additional daily service to be added from December 1, 2010. Introductory fares will be available until September 30, 2010 for as low as Php1,888 (inclusive of VAT).
“We are pleased at the addition of Zamboanga into our network, as our services here allows us to add yet another hub of commerce and trade into our ever-expanding network,” said Bettina de Vera, Corporate Communications Manager at Airphil Express. She added, “This new route will be operated by our next addition to the Airphil Express fleet in October – another brand new 180-seater A320 aircraft, which we are also very excited about.”
With the additional jet aircraft, double daily flights to Tagbilaran and Legaspi will also be mounted on December 1, 2010, shortly after their launch services on October 28, 2010.
